Boris Svetlov and Alexander Rybak
This Autumn Alexander Rybak will hold concerts in the cities of Belarus together with the local children’s orchestras. This decision was made by the Ministry of Culture of Belarus after the meeting with the artist, – reports the correspondent of BELTA.
The singer told the Minister of Culture of Belarus, Boris Svetlov, about his experience in organising concerts with children’s orchestras in Scandinavia and America. “I made arrangements for the orchestra in different genres – either it was jazz , rock, classical or popular music , practised with the children’s orchestra, and we made good concerts . I have a dream to organise such a project in my homeland,” – said the artist .

Alexander Rybak helps Belarus warm up for Eurovision
Former Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak usually has rather busy time of it in the run up to Eurovision each year, and this year is no exception. Not only has young Mr Rybak been busy featuring in a popular TV series in Norway, he’s apparently heading East for Easter.
Having wowed audiences at home in Norway with a number of superb renditions of other people’s hits in the smash series Hver Gang Vi Møtes, Alexander Rybak is spending his Easter where it all started. Following his landslide victory at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with Fairytale, Eastern Europe welcomed Rybak with open arms, with his place of birth Belarus in particular becoming one of his major markets.

Here is a shortened version of the 5th episode of TV-show “Hver gang vi møtes”, which was broadcasted on TV2 channel on 29.03.2014. And the separate video of Alexander’s performance of Sigvart’s song “Kan Eg Gjørr Någe Med Det” with intro and lyrics in different languages. Enjoy! :)
